A Space for the Sea God
How would a shrine for the Sea God look like? And what is it's purpose? Is it a resting space or a place to study? Can we cook there, or is it a space where people gather and chat, or come for being alone? Are we supposed to run or pray? Maybe, it is a space for this all.
And for each and every of these activities, the space changes, and for every person.
This module, was to design a shrine in a given space near the White Sea, Ratnagiri, and with wooden strips of three different, specific dimensions. It could be anything, and however, the way we wanted it to be, but to be presented in a manner, in which, a person living in the Mirya village should understand and be able to build it.
